Privacy and trust

In plain words.

What happens to your answers, who sees what, where AI comes in, and what KINDRiiD is not.

Before KINDRiiD opens to everyone The formal privacy notice and terms are still being written. This page describes how the product works today, and the privacy notice will say the same thing in legal form.

Your answers

Your answers are yours. Nobody else in your family ever sees them, and KINDRiiD staff don't see them either.

The last few questions are optional and about your life right now. One of them is a private note. It's stored for you and used for nothing else: it's never shown to anyone and never given to an AI.

What other people see

Nothing is shared until you choose to share it, with a particular person.

Sharing a result with someone does tell them something about you, because a result between two people shows what each person's answers suggest. So before anything is shared, you'll see in plain words exactly what the other person will see. You never share your answers themselves.

When you share with someone, they can see which way you lean on each of the seven markers and roughly how strongly, as words, never a number; the eight values you chose; and your six family skills as you rated them, for example "a reliable strength" or "still building".

They never see your answers to any question, your mindset result in any form, your context answers or your private note, how flexible you said you are on each marker, or which of you a marker with no clear reading belonged to.

A result between two people needs both of you to have finished and both of you to have agreed. You both see the same pages, either of you can stop sharing at any time, and one person's answers never produce statements about someone else.

Setting up a family space doesn't give you access to anyone's results. Each person decides for themselves.

How your results are worked out

Fixed, written rules turn your answers into results, the same way every time. There are no scores to see and no ranking against anyone else. Every result records exactly which version of the questions and rules produced it, so it never changes behind your back.

Where AI comes in

AI never works out your results and never decides anything about you. Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, helps write your Story in a warm, readable way, using only insights KINDRiiD has already approved for your result.

  • Claude never sees your answers, your private note or any numbers.
  • Everything it writes is checked before you see it. If a check fails, you get the same result in KINDRiiD's own approved words instead.
  • It can't add a fact about you or your family that your result doesn't support.

What KINDRiiD is not

  • It isn't therapy and doesn't replace professional support.
  • It doesn't diagnose anyone or label anyone.
  • It isn't a verdict. Everything is written as a possibility for you to recognise, or not.
  • It isn't a scientifically validated test, and it never claims to be. The questions improve with each version, from how people actually use them.

Children

Accounts are for adults for now. You can add younger family members by name only, with no email address or date of birth, and nobody answers questions on their behalf.

Staff

KINDRiiD staff can see that an account exists and how its results were made, so they can fix things when something goes wrong. They can't see your answers or read your Story, and every time they open someone's record they have to give a reason, which is kept on record.
